BUMP

This wall hanging originated from experimenting with the craft of weaving. By intervening with the original technique and wrapping the stretchy weave fabric around the nylon warp thread various times, bumps are created that contract when the weave is released from the loom. This intervention transforms the material to the point that the original technique is hardly recognizable, resulting in a dynamic structure. This structure gives an organic feel and invites the user to touch the design.
